I found a parking spot right in front of the stairs, and the area was quiet enough for a good night’s rest. The apartment was very clean, so it seems the issues mentioned in an older review have been sorted out. It has everything needed for a pleasant stay, including a TV, internet, hairdryer, washing machine, air conditioning and iron. The host was very kind, communicated well and found me a better location than the one Booking had offered. I liked the mattress, which was medium firm. I would have appreciated a chair and a mosquito net in the bedroom. Street lighting is poor, though that isn’t the apartment owner’s responsibility. I may stay at the same place next time I’m in Craiova.

The apartment was unbelievably dirty. The walls were badly soiled, the shower cabin had rust, mold and dust, and the window frames looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. A blanket on the living room sofa seemed to be hiding the grime underneath. Opening the microwave made me feel sick. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!
