Romanescu park is right across the street, which is a lovely location, though the park itself looked rather neglected. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price made this small hotel fine for a short stay. The rooms could use a little more attention, with missing bulbs and a few minor maintenance issues.

The bathroom was clean, but the room was so dirty that we couldn't walk around barefoot. It seemed like they'd forgotten to vacuum before we checked in. When we made simple requests, the staff acted as if helping us was a huge burden.

I was there during a festival, and the only real plus was being close to the park where it was held. My room was small, had no toiletries or fridge, and the air conditioner barely worked. There was also a wedding that went on late into the night. Nobody mentioned it when I booked or when I arrived, which was very disappointing.

Everything else was fine, and the room was decent for the price in a good location. But the bed in room 8 squeaked at the slightest breath. Too bad, because that was the one thing that really bothered me.

We had a nice stay at Belvedere in Craiova. The staff were very helpful, and the food was tasty with fair prices. Yes, I’d recommend it. ;)
