One of the best places we've stayed. The hosts were so friendly, kind, and helpful, and everything was extremely clean and thoughtfully designed. 🙂

We had dinner here even though our booking included only breakfast, and they welcomed us with traditional apple pálinka. The breakfast leaned heavily on homemade dishes, especially the porcini zacuscă, whose flavor is hard to describe. Give it a try, it's absolutely worth it. The hosts were wonderfully warm and did everything they could to make us feel good. The pension is top-notch in every way. It's at the edge of Hațeg toward Caransebeș, with easy access straight off the road.

A few days before our holiday, they called to say they could no longer honor our reservation and cancelled it. It was a very unpleasant situation, and our plans were turned upside down.

The food, rooms, and courtyard were all impeccable. The host was incredibly welcoming. We highly recommend the place and will come back whenever we get the chance.
