Hotel Venus Mamaia

On my first trip to Mamaia, I was lucky to find this hotel. The room was clean, the staff were helpful, and the prices were convenient. Breakfast was included and great, and the food was good. There’s also a lovely private beach nearby, with a sun lounger included in the price. Great service from a great team. Thank you!

The location is the one real plus, and they have their own beach. Beyond that, the service was poor, the old rooms were broken, the bathrooms were dirty, the linen was stained, and the corridors smelled. The staff had no manners, and the hotel is expensive for what it offers. Avoid it.

Hotel Venus is a 3-star place beside the 4-star Iaki hotel. Breakfast is included, and so are sunbeds on its own beach area, two for a regular room and three for our apartment. The breakfast was poor and exactly the same every morning. More variety and more professionalism at reception would improve the rating. I heard many tourists on the beach complain about the staff. Towels are meant to be changed every two days, but sometimes the outside laundry service is late. If you happen to arrive on one of those days, you can shower but may not have a towel afterward, so you have to wait to dry off. The whole experience made this our first and last stay.

We didn’t need to move the car since everything was within walking distance, and the hotel is right in central Mamaia. It’s a good family option, with a restaurant and a beach area for guests. The renovated rooms were clean and comfortable, and I thought the price was good for what you get.
