We arrived late and found no water in the room, even though they advertise a minibar, and the fridge was empty. We were told we could get water at reception, but there was no still water and none was brought to us after they said they would. That's a good example of the attitude here: they say things but don't sort them out. The breakfast was awful, and since we only tried it on the first morning and then bought food elsewhere, we ended up paying twice for breakfast. The owner was aggressive and tried to talk us out of leaving a bad review. When we explained what we didn't like, he blamed us instead of listening. At checkout he offered a voucher to try to stop us from posting a negative review. The cleanliness needs to improve, and while the room may be three star quality, the service was one star. I've traveled around Romania for work and holidays, including small towns and hotels, and this was the worst managed hotel I've experienced there. Please read the negative reviews, because unfortunately what they say is true. The manager's replies also show his poor attitude. It's a shame to pay for service and get such low quality.

The breakfast is extremely basic, and the hotel is dirty. The room clearly hadn't been cleaned properly, and I wondered when the shared areas had last been cleaned. This doesn't feel like a four star hotel at all. Anastasia hotel is much more like a two star place, without exaggeration.

I'd avoid this place. The breakfast was dirty, with unwashed plates and glasses, and the hotel is badly kept. It feels like a fairly new hotel has been allowed to drop to a two star standard because there aren't enough cleaners and the breakfast is unprofessional and unclean. The manager's replies to one star reviews are sarcastic and unprofessional. It's a very unpleasant stay. P.S. Read the manager's responses to reviews, they're so unusual they'd be worth posting on Facebook. 🥲😅

The rooms were clean and good, and there is free underground parking, though it may be a tight fit for larger cars. Breakfast was my only issue: the eggs were cold, and the warming trays weren't switched on to keep the food hot.

I stayed here about two years ago and somehow never wrote a review, but what the owner said stuck with me. It was summer, the room was too hot, and there was no air conditioning. When I complained, he started explaining that our body temperature is around 36°C and that anything below it should be bearable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel because of the conditions or the owner, who tries to talk you into things whenever he gets the chance.
