Casa Candea Sighisoara

We agreed on the price for three nights after they called back to confirm availability. After spending one night there, we were told we had to leave because another reservation for the same apartment had come through Booking. They wouldn't acknowledge a mistake and kept insisting we'd only asked to stay one night. Unfortunately, our experience was bad, and I can't recommend them.

A really welcoming place for families, with a backyard where kids can play, apple trees, and a balcony overlooking the pool. It has a great B&B feel and the hospitality was lovely. Room 7 is the large one, and it's perfect. Clean, warm, and they speak English.

Apart from the bed, this was a great place, with a beautiful garden and back area, a large parking lot, and plenty of other perks. But the mattress was too soft, one spring poked through the fabric, and the head and torso end was lower than the other side. The pillows were so soft you could roll them up, making them useless. I barely slept the first night. There were no window screens either, so leaving the window open meant getting bitten by lots of mosquitoes.

The location could be nice, but the manager has no idea how to run a business. He loses his temper and yells insults at guests, and the employees do too. We were told he'd built the place and could yell as much as he wanted. I won't set foot in there again.
