The location is good, but the rooms are awful for the price. We stayed two nights, my friend and I each in our own room. Both felt below 18c at night and were very cold. In winter the 'hotel' doesn't provide the air conditioning remote, so there's no way to turn up the temperature. These are subdivided rooms in an old apartment building. Both rooms had obvious damp patches on the ceilings. They weren't completely filthy, but they weren't very clean either. Rooms facing the main street can be noisy, so ask for one facing the courtyard if you have to stay. For £50 per night in Belgrade, this was well below expectations and felt more like a 2* place than a 4*. The location is the main upside. It might be acceptable if they called it a 2* and charged accordingly.

The rooms were disappointing, looking rundown and not properly cleaned or maintained. There were visible damages, mold and stains, and the internet was very slow most of the time. The area is lovely and very central, so you can walk to pretty much anywhere. The staff found parking for our car, answered lots of questions and shared plenty of tips.

The location was the one good thing about my stay. What I found was a few rooms made out of one apartment, inside a residential building, as the sign on the entrance door indicated. Calling it a hotel felt misleading, and the photos were nowhere near what the room looked like. The curtains left part of the window uncovered, the heat didn’t work, and some of the cable for the heating and cooling unit was damaged and exposed. Even the bathroom sink was oddly high, just above my knees. I was glad I only had to put up with it for one night. A longer stay would’ve been miserable and stressful.

Staying here was convenient, with clean streets for walking and good places to eat nearby in the old town. The apartments are well equipped: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, oven, microwave and hairdryer. Towels and toilet paper were brought each day. I can’t remember whether there was an iron. The staff were friendly, too.
