The location made it easy to get around and reach the main attractions. I also found the hostel safe and comfortable, with a pleasant atmosphere where it was easy to meet other travelers without too much noise. My room was quiet at night, and the bed was comfortable. The hostel was clean and well cared for. Staff were friendly, answered my questions, and shared useful tips about the city. I’d recommend staying here.

I spent two weeks here and had a wonderful time. The place was clean and peaceful, with a lovely view. The people working here were the best part. Thanks to my brother Darko and my sister Maya.

I ended up leaving and checking into another hostel. The manager wanted more money than the price we’d discussed before my visit. The hostel is on the fifth floor, and carrying my luggage up was difficult since there’s no lift. After a long argument, I said I’d book online because it was still cheaper there. He told me I couldn’t book online anymore and that if I did, they wouldn’t give me a bed. He said I had to pay cash on the spot. It felt like a scam, and the whole thing was really bad. No humanity.

The payment situation was confusing and ended with them still owing me 300 dinars, which I haven’t received back. They charged one amount at first, then asked for more several times. Later, they said they’d refund the difference, but the next day another staff member said the previous shift had made a mistake and I needed to pay even more. The room itself was uncomfortable. The ceilings were so low I hit my head several times, once quite hard. Water ran straight onto the bathroom boiler while I showered because of how it was installed, which felt unsafe.
