Nobel Zira Belgrade Hotel

The room was cosy and the breakfast buffet was great. There's a huge underground car park shared with the shopping centre in the same building. It costs €15 a day, which is a little pricey, but street parking is paid and limited, so it's an easy choice. The location is great, and the centre isn't far at all.

The location is excellent, and having a market downstairs is really convenient. Food choices are somewhat limited. It may not match the standards of a four-star hotel in Turkey, but by Balkan standards it's quite good. The hotel itself is nice, though it falls short on slippers and basic things like soap. If those gaps were fixed, I think it would be truly very good.

Avoid the rooms opposite the elevator. In room 605, the front door was loose and vibrated when the window was open. The door was so thick that I could hear everything in the hall, and the window let in both wind and street noise. The remote was programmed incorrectly, so good luck changing the volume. I asked reception for a quieter room, but they said, "In the morning." How was I supposed to sleep? Four stars? I guess they were plucked out of the sky. Two stars would be my guess.

The meeting room was quiet and worked well for work. I'm satisfied with the service, and the staff were friendly. The food was adequate, though dinner was quite modest and the portions rather small.
