We felt at home right away when my family and friends stayed at this beautiful place in August. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was delicious, and the people were super nice and friendly. Hughes, the owner, regaled us with stories from his life and Africa. Highly recommend this place if you're travelling to Kigali.

We went back to Umusambi B&B twice as a family of four. During our two weeks in Rwanda, Hugues helped us sort out all parts of our travel. The owner and staff were so helpful, and the breakfasts were amazing. It felt like a peaceful little oasis in Kigali, with service to match.

Those little check-in touches made it feel like home: a kimono, chocolate, and a kind note. The rooms are clean, the atmosphere is friendly, and the service pays attention to details. Kigali feels like home when I stay here.
