Ajwad Ajyad Hotel

I stayed six nights over seven days. The room itself was decent for a short visit, and the room service was good. They keep cleaning rooms after guests check out. The toilet is narrow but usable, while the stairs didn't feel safe. The elevator is small and gets busy, though after a longer stay it started to feel normal.

The food was good, and the hotel is near the Haram. Cleanliness wasn't great, and the room hygiene and amenities fell short of what I expected. The worst part was the lifts: there are only two small ones for 12 floors, each holding about six or seven people.

The rooms were very small, with barely enough space even in the bathroom, and they weren't clean. I found bed bugs, and the sheets were changed every 3-4 days instead of daily. Cleaning only happened when we asked. The lifts got packed, with waits of 30-45 minutes before and after prayers. The food wasn't good either, but I ate it just to fill my stomach.

It's an average hotel, about a 10-minute walk from the Haram, and the service and hygiene were okay. But the lift gets so crowded that going just one floor can mean waiting half an hour. I wouldn't book here.
