Zowar International Hotel

The location is good, and Sultan at the reception office was very nice, as were the day staff. But the night duty staff member’s behavior was extremely disrespectful, and I can’t recommend this hotel to families based on that service. Management needs to improve staff behavior, especially on the night shift. When booking, I clearly told the hotel we were three adults and three children and needed an extra mattress for a child. Staff verbally confirmed it, but at check-in they refused, saying there was no space. One staff member tried to help, but the night duty staff member was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Instead of finding a solution, he spoke harshly, said he didn’t know any manager, that we’d only get one blanket, and that we could do whatever we wanted. The issue wasn’t just the mattress. That response to a family with children was unacceptable and showed no basic hospitality or respect. In a city like Madinah, where families come for religious visits, staff should at least show basic courtesy and empathy.

Masjid Nabawi is only about a five-minute walk away, and the staff were polite and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom clean, so I had a pleasant stay at Zawar International Hotel. The shower water was cold, which was inconvenient, but otherwise it met my expectations.

It was peaceful and suited both rest and Ibadah. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, the staff were cooperative, and we had a wonderful stay at Zowar International Hotel Madinah. Getting to Masjid-e-Nabawi on foot was easy and only took minutes, even if leaving at Azaan. Gates 330 and 331 provide convenient access, especially for families and elderly people. Highly recommended for Umrah and Ziyarat visitors who want a comfortable, clean place within walking distance of the Haram.

This is a 4* hotel in Madinah Munawarra, less than an eight-minute walk from Masjid Nabvi gates 328, 329, or 330. The setup is pretty modern, with bedrooms for four, three, or two people and a bathroom with a shower. Service was friendly, mainly from the sub-continent. Breakfast includes Malaysian, European, and sub continent options, but you need to add it to your booking. The same goes for lunch and dinner. Otherwise, there are plenty of fast food options and food Halls serving Pakistani food around the hotel. There are three lifts in the 14-floor building, so expect to wait around namaz times. Roughly 100ppl check in or out each day, and you may get a fright when they say you're checking out, so keep copies of your reservation. Money exchange and ATMs are nearby, though queues can form in the evening.
