Coco D'Or

The hotel is in a quiet, tranquil area, with secure parking off the street. Beau Vallon beach is an easy 400 metres away, and there’s a bus stop a few minutes’ walk around the corner near the “Grub” supermarket. The hotel’s adjoining restaurants offer Chinese, Creole, pizza, and Indian food, all within walking distance, some less than a minute away. As of August 2025, nearby conveniences include two large supermarkets, two small local shops, a pharmacy, and three money exchangers, all within a 10-minute walk of each other. Without a hire car, the Blue Bus is affordable. In August 2025, a one-way trip cost 10 Seychelles rupees, but you need a prepaid bus card because they don’t accept cash. Coco Dor Hotel’s bus stop is an easy 3-minute walk. Beau Vallon routes include Bus 20, Route 22 Circular Service, or Route 24, running about every 15 to 30 minutes on weekdays. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Special mention to Marceline, Tessa, Marcia, Priscilla, Dipen, and Shiva. Also, Mr France is an authentic Seychelles Creole chef whose cooking expertise seems overlooked and wasted. Management, please consider adding some of his specialties to the takeaway menu, like 100% authentic Creole bouillon brede, a delicious starter soup, his authentic Creole vegetarian creamy lentil soup, and Banana cake Swiss Rolls. Renovations are still to come for the accommodation. The daily breakfast menu costs extra, but I highly recommend it for its great buffet options. Best regards from the Australian Sisters

I was considering giving this 4 stars, but couldn’t come up with a reason to take one away. The rooms are spacious, well air conditioned, and have private terraces. The bathrooms are just as large, with good water pressure. There are 3 restaurants and a bar on site, along with a garden and pool. The beach, supermarket, and bus stop are all within a 5-minute walk. Every staff member I met, from the night guard and cleaners to receptionists, was very friendly and helpful. The price is agreeable compared with nearby places. Would I stay again if I came back? You bet. Highly recommended.

We got a takeaway pizza from Uncle Will's Pizza at Coco D'or. Ordering at the Takeaway desk was easy, and the staff were friendly. It was ready in about fifteen minutes, hot and tasty, and not too pricey. I’d order from here again.

The pizza and fries were good, and we had a very nice waiter at the hotel restaurant "wills uncle." We ordered fries and a fungi pizza with olives instead of onion. But the place looks very old at first glance, and we gave it a low score because of the rude receptionist. Since we were tourists, we asked for the Wi-Fi after ordering. We were told, "no because you are not clients of the hotel." We went to reception and got the same response, delivered very rudely. My mom then had a long discussion with him, which only ended when the manager arrived. The manager, of course, said we could use the Wi-Fi.
