There aren’t many chain hotels nearby, so this quirky little historic place is worth considering, and the price is okay. The restaurant and museum are both worth a visit, with museum entry included when you stay overnight. Rooms cover the basics, though they’re basic and feel kind of low quality. Then again, it is an IKEA hotel.

Just a four-minute walk from the train station, the hotel is spotless, with decent rooms and a colorful, creative IKEA feel at every turn. The breakfast was amazing, and we had a great time here. The world’s first and only IKEA Hotel, at least until today, is quite an experience!

The included breakfast was incredible, and having a shared kitchen with microwaves and cutlery on every floor was such a thoughtful touch. We stayed in January and had a really nice time. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for IKEA fans.

We were visiting the area and were glad to find this quirky hotel, even though it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. It’s right by the IKEA museum, close to where Ikea began, and museum tickets are included. Families have living room spaces to use, with ice cream and popcorn for the kids. The unusual rooms feel cozy and very Ikea-like, though there are stains and signs of wear that won’t come out. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were nice. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is in an ideal spot, within walking distance of the train station. The rooms and bathroom are very minimalist. There’s no closet, just hangers on a rack against one wall, and they don’t even provide a hot water kettle in the room.
