The food and restaurant service were incredible. Pavlos served us one of our best meals, and I’ll never forget the reindeer tartar starter. We also loved the sauna, a 10/10, right by the lake where we could take several cold plunges each day. The octagon hall was perfect for our group’s yoga and sound healing sessions. Frej was a wonderful, authentic, cool, and fun guide. The whole group appreciated his guidance on the hike and during the outdoor games. The quiet and closeness to nature are priceless, and make Sörbyn Lodge worth visiting in any season. The old cabins weren’t great and felt expensive for their standard. The new ones are better, and we hope to return with the whole group and stay in the more premium option. There were also some cleaning issues before check-in.

The lake was quiet, nature all around, And dog sledding made winter magic abound. The lodge felt warm, clean, and calm, A cozy place that brought us balm. The staff were kind, the food a delight, Each meal felt worthy of a Michelin night. Sörbyn Lodge was a stay I won’t forget, One of my best, and a dream yet.

The staff were very helpful arranging activities, and the service felt personal throughout. The small hotel is a beautiful venue, with comfortable, warm rooms in winter and exceptional food and wine. I’d recommend booking a cabin only in summer. Highly recommended!
