The stained bed skirt bothered me most. The top sheet seemed clean, but the bed skirt had odd marks and looked as though it hadn’t been washed. There were also exposed sprinklers in the ceiling, which felt unsettling and made the room seem unfinished. I knew I’d booked a windowless room, so the lack of daylight wasn’t a surprise. Missing basics like hand soap and shower gel/body wash were, though. It felt like the room hadn’t been prepared. I asked reception about the shower gel; they said they’d sort it out, but nothing happened. There wasn’t even a phone in the room, leaving no way to call for help. That seemed almost intentional. The lobby had looked promising, like at least a three-star hotel, but that impression fell apart upstairs. The room was bare and claustrophobic, more like a cheap motel than a hotel, and far below what I expect. I don’t recommend staying here. I hope they review their cleaning, basic amenities, guest service, and room finish so the rooms feel safe and reassuring.

The reception staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Our room was small, but comfortable and clean. The hotel is well placed for exploring the centre of Malmo, with everything downtown within walking distance. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was worth having before heading out.

The location was just right, right in the middle of the shopping district. I visited in early December, when the Christmas village was set up and within walking distance. The hotel was nice, the room clean, the bed comfy, and breakfast was good.

For one person, the small room was more than enough. It was super clean and welcoming, and the service was outstanding and really friendly. The hotel is right by the city centre, or practically next to it, and breakfast was nicely prepared and served.

The room was basic, but right in the heart of the city. There were lots of choices at the paid breakfast. The bathroom was a real biohazard, with a risk of infection. There were poop stains on the toilet and sink, and blood all over the walls and the glasses by the sink. When we raised the cleanliness problems with reception, all we got was an apology.
