Scandic Segevang Malmo

Breakfast really surprised us. There was a great range of choices, including enough options for people with allergies to eat comfortably. Parking was free too, which was nice. We were on a road trip and stayed one night. Since we booked online, check-in and checkout were quick and easy. The room was clean and had what we needed, including little things like a notepad, reading lamps, shampoo, and conditioner.

The breakfast was the standout for me, with lots to choose from. Coffee was a letdown, though, since they only had regular brewed coffee and no proper coffee machine. The restaurant food was alright, nothing special, but it filled us up. There was also a small gym with a decent range of equipment and a small pool that met basic expectations. I was there for work. The exterior looked a little shabby, but the inside felt better, and the receptionist was friendly and got me checked in quickly. My room was okay and the bed was comfortable, though it was two single beds pushed together. That was annoying when you’re used to a bigger bed. The bathroom was fine, nothing special. Much of the hotel was being renovated during our stay, so there was plenty of construction work going on. It’s in a nice location, with friendly staff and decent facilities, but the outside and some areas could use improvement.

The welcome was great, and the room was clean with a really nice bathroom. I could park for free and charge my car overnight. They even gave me a coffee before I left, which I appreciated a lot. Thanks!

A nice place with friendly staff and good value for the money. There’s free parking and lots of MER chargers. Downloading the app and getting started is easy, and it costs little.
