The location was handy, with a bus stop, bike rentals and shops nearby, Lidl about a 10-minute walk away, and the seafront close by. The TV worked well and let me cast from my phone. I also appreciated being able to use the lounge on departure day while waiting for a later flight. There was luggage storage, and one of the security gentlemen was especially helpful. My stay was let down by cleanliness and service. The room, particularly the bathroom, wasn't properly cleaned when I arrived. The window area was dusty and had cobwebs, and the nearly empty soap wasn't replaced. I was first put in a basement room that didn't match the photos online, and it took two days before a room change was possible. Guests can't adjust the room temperature, which was uncomfortable at times. Housekeeping didn't come unless asked, even during a longer stay, and when I requested cleaning it was refused. My allergy symptoms were getting worse, so I had to vacuum myself. The shower is at floor level and water spreads across the bathroom after use. The frying pan was badly worn, with its base coming off, making even basic cooking difficult. If you need soap, towels, cookware or cleaning, tell the front desk or customer support directly; it won't happen by default. If you're assigned a basement room, check whether it matches the listing photos and ask about changing before the trip if possible. The location and basic conveniences were decent, but for the price it felt like the bare minimum given the cleanliness, maintenance and service problems.

The price was good, and the room was really spacious and clean when I arrived. Worked perfectly for a convention visit. I'd gladly come back :D

The bathroom had a persistent bad smell, and there was no Wi-Fi. We were told it was “out of order.” Check-in at 4 PM and check-out at 11 AM were inconvenient, and guests are expected to take their own rubbish to the garbage room, which isn't acceptable for a hotel. When we returned for our luggage, we asked to use a restroom and were told none was available for guests. How does a hotel operate this way? A terrible experience, absolutely not recommended.

The guard at reception was really helpful and quickly moved me to another room, which was clean. But the first room clearly hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. I'd read reviews on the way over and thought there was no way they actually left rooms uncleaned. Turns out they did. The soundproofing was poor in the replacement room too: I could hear the person upstairs walking around and opening cabinets, which made it hard to sleep.

We expected both rooms to be reimbursed, but only got a refund for one. My business partner had expected a room to himself and received no compensation for the inconvenience. After the hotel suggested I change the bedsheets myself and stay in the room, I ended up sharing with him, which wasn't ideal. We'd booked two rooms well ahead for a business trip, but on arrival one was in a very poor state of cleanliness. When I called, the hotel suggested moving to its other location in Lund, which wasn't feasible. They said the Malmö hotel and nearby hotels were fully booked, and didn't seem to understand how bad the cleanliness issue was. The service was disappointing, and they handled the situation poorly. I can't recommend this hotel. I've attached photos of the room for reference.
