Hotell Hörnan

The curtains were white and let daylight into the room, so I couldn't sleep before 20:00. Sound insulation was awful too: I could hear the next room's guests and felt like I was outside among cars. On my first day at Hotel Hornan Norrköping, there was no internet, even though I work online and need it for my job. The pillow was far too soft, as in many hotels, and I would have needed at least 10 of them to feel comfortable. Worst hotel I've ever seen. Don't stay here at all.

I woke up to find I'd been robbed: my computer, iPhone and AirPods Pro were gone. I think it was an inside job. The room also smelled like a sewer. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at!

With three exhausted kids, we ended up having to drive back to Uppsala. We'd brought them from Uppsala after our stay in Kolmården, and they were really tired. The reception was inside a pub, which wasn't child friendly, and we were treated terribly. First they told us to keep our distance, even though we're a family. Then the rude woman repeatedly questioned whether we'd booked, despite our having a booking. She also said we couldn't use a toilet because of a water leak. Why weren't we told about that before arriving? How can they be so rude, lose track of bookings and fail to tell customers about the leak before the wedding? Please don't go there. They can't run a functioning business.

We only needed somewhere to sleep instead of staying in the car, and it was extremely cheap. Just expect a bed, nothing more. It's more like a hostel than a hotel: there isn't a reception, and you check in at the bar downstairs. They give you a code for the building next door, where the rooms are. There's no toilet or shower in the room, just a shared one in the corridor that wasn't very fresh. The room itself was okay, basically an ordinary room with a bed. Soundproofing was extremely poor, and activity outside made it impossible to sleep after 7.
