The huge bathtub was a real highlight. I could finally sink all the way into a bubble bath. The room had two single beds and a small desk with a hard chair, and there was a market right across the street. The man at reception was very pleasant. I booked this because it was the second cheapest Stockholm hotel I found for my dates, and it felt worth the price. It’s a bit out of the way, with not much nearby, though the train stop for the airport was an easy walk. There was construction outside my window, but I was so jet lagged that I barely noticed.

I was here for work and mainly needed somewhere to crash. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and I got fresh towels every day. It is dated and could use a 21st-century update, though despite some of the reviews, I didn’t think it was a bad hotel. A bath mat, hand towel, somewhere to hang them, and another WiFi access point or two would help.

The room was plain and old, and the bathroom smelled. I’m pretty sure I’d asked for a double, but got two separate single beds instead. The curtains, made of short, thick strips, were hard to close properly for privacy. Everything is on one floor, which is good for accessibility, but the walk from reception to the room takes ages. When we came back late, neither our cards nor the door cards would let us into the building or our room, which was annoying. Two stars for the location.

The rooms are run down and old, and the WiFi basically doesn’t work. Since all the rooms are at ground level, with the windows open in summer you can hear drunk people walking along the not so nice street. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Stockholm.

The woman working the late reception shift when we stayed was incredibly unfriendly, and that’s why I’m giving the hotel its lowest rating. Otherwise, things seemed fine, with a good breakfast and a nice room. The only small issue was that there were just two towels in total for two people.
