The Winery Hotel, WorldHotels Crafted

We had a great time at the wine tasting, which was in English. We learned about a Swedish white wine and heard plenty of interesting facts about the family estate. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was tasty, with lovely service and huge portions. We needed a takeaway box for the pizza! The Winery Hotel is stylish, well kept, and easy to get to. Our first room faced the main road, but we were able to move to the quieter side. I wouldn't choose it for the views, but the stay was well worth the trip. The rooftop pool and bar were lovely on a hot day in Stockholm. We absolutely recommend it.

The place was tidy, modern and comfortable, with professional staff and a good breakfast. Its location outside Stockholm, next to the highway, isn't great, but it worked well for me since it was near my training location.

The location is limited, with very little nearby, but the hotel is clean and modern. Our family room was spacious, and the sound insulation was amazing, so it was very quiet. The heated rooftop pool was great for a relaxing dip, even with young children. There was plenty of paid parking when we visited, and the heated bathroom floor dried quickly after a shower. Breakfast could be better: there was loads of bread, but very little fruit or cereal. They only had filter coffee, with no machine for cappuccino or latte. The hire bikes were for adults only, with no child bikes, trailer bikes, or bike seats.

The bed was comfortable, the room had everything I needed, and the staff were helpful. The rooftop area is a real asset, though I couldn't swim because the pool was full of people standing around with drinks. Breakfast was nice, but for such a large hotel I expected more choice, like granola or a coffee machine. It's conveniently located beside the airport bus stop, and public transport takes about half an hour to the city center. I ate at one of the restaurants one evening. It wasn't the best meal I've ever had, but it was pretty good and convenient not to leave the hotel.
