Being able to bring my dog and have a safe, welcoming setup for her was the best part of this weekend stay. I live in Denmark and travelled by train with her. When I booked, I selected the pet-in-room option, and the room was ready with a dog bed, water bowl, and a sign saying "pet inside." My dog doesn't like being surprised by strangers, so that notice helped. The extra charge was 250SE, and I'd book here again for that alone. The location worked perfectly for the short itinerary I'd planned, right in the centre. I used self check-in after hours of travel, which suited me when my social battery was low. I later went to reception with a few questions, to get an ice bucket, and to share feedback in person. The staff were lovely, always smiling and keen to help. The bar staff were just as warm. They were great company and made travelling alone, apart from my dog, enjoyable. Everyone I met greeted me with a smile and seemed eager to help.

We started out in a small room without a window, so we asked reception about the price of an upgrade. Emmie kindly moved us to a "standard room" at no extra cost, and it was lovely. Thanks to her for such a warm welcome. The hotel is right outside the Arlanda Express station, which was a pleasant surprise when we arrived, but we couldn't hear the trains while sleeping. Everything in the city was within walking distance, and the staff were so nice. We had a great stay, would recommend it, and would come back on another visit to Stockholm.

The room was quiet and the bed comfortable, and the hotel has a lovely lobby and bar. Its location near the station is handy, with Gamla Stan about a 15-minute walk away. Breakfast was an excellent buffet. The rooms are very small, with hardly enough space for suitcases. Our heater didn't work, and the room wasn't properly serviced during our stay. Even after we'd been out for five hours, we had to ask for fresh towels and cleaning.

My grandmother and I spent one night here for her birthday. I'd let the hotel know in advance, and they thoughtfully set up balloons, treats, and a gift in our room. It was so generous and moved her to tears, making the stay extra special. Thank you to Elena at reception too for being so patient and kind.

The kids had a great time with the games in the lobby, and the buffet breakfast was amazing, the best we've had in Europe. The hotel is also close to the train station and buses, with the attractions easy to reach from its central location. Maria gave us such friendly service, and we'd stay here again when we return to Stockholm.
