Pop House Hotel; Bw Premier Collection

The tram and boat dock are right outside, and the location is great. Staff and breakfast were brilliant, and I liked the cool decor. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I was here for a work conference. It’s a decent hotel, but the location comes with a lot of noise and crowds. Grona Lund is right next door, with queues outside, and the hotel is connected to The ABBA museum. From my room I could hear park announcements into the evening, especially during concerts and events. The tram stops out front too, so its warning bells sounded every 10-15 minutes until around 23:00. Food nearby was another drawback. In this busy tourist area, the choices seemed to be hot dogs and ice cream or restaurants charging tourist prices for much the same menus. The ferry behind the hotel makes it easy to go to Slussen/Gamla Stan for dinner instead. Breakfast was fine, with the basics, but not memorable compared with the good buffets I’ve had at other Nordic hotels.

We enjoyed having so much nearby, from ferries and parks to museums and an amusement park. The hotel is next to the Abba Museum, and there’s plenty of activity around it, but our room stayed fairly quiet apart from Abba music outside the museum during the day. The tram also runs right outside. Our room was on the small side, though nicely furnished with what we needed. Staff at both the front desk and breakfast restaurant were so welcoming and helpful. We liked being able to sit outside for breakfast on a nice morning. It was included and excellent, with a huge buffet of choices as well as dishes you could order from a menu.

I stayed at backstage hotel with my mum over the summer and we had a great time. Being right next to the ABBA Museum made it so easy to pop in. I was surprised to find a karaoke room too, where Mum and I sang a few ABBA songs. So worth it!
