For the price, it's great value. The hostel is spacious and the rooms are warm and comfortable, with very friendly staff. It's a little away from the center, but still perfectly walkable. You can hear a lot of noise from the other rooms, and the bathrooms could be cleaner and better.

We had a superior room and it was immaculate. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice, and the room where we ate was spotless. There's also a lounge with a large TV and a cafe downstairs selling snacks and drinks. What a wonderful hostel, and excellent value for money.

The bathrooms were a big drawback: there was no shower gel, soap, or shampoo, and each item was sold separately at reception for 2-3€. Otherwise, the amenities were very nice. There's a fully equipped kitchen and a play area with books, board games, a pool table, and a TV. The rooms were warm and cozy enough. Staff were kind and helpful, and reception is open 24/7. You can also leave your luggage before check-in and stroll around the city more easily. The location is amazing, on one of the quieter islands but central enough to reach almost all central activities on foot.

It's a serene spot, and the hostel isn't very crowded, so you can relax in the common areas. The tall guy at reception was really cute and nice. He showed me the captain of the ship, which is a bird. Haha.

The cappuccino cost 50 kroner, and the service was very poor. It took ages to come, and half of it had spilled. Unfortunately, payment had to be made in advance.
