Alocassia Service Apartments

The apartment was large and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a few minutes’ walk to the MRT. There’s also a McDonalds, launderette, small supermarket, yoga studio, gym, restaurant, café, and hairdresser in the building. Highly recommended.

The car park is trash. There’s no contactless option, and you still have to insert a physical cashcard, which nobody uses anymore with the new OBU system. Seriously.

The management is very bad and the security staff are unfriendly. There’s a car park lot in front of the building, but they never let customers park there, not even briefly to pick up food. They put cones out to narrow the driveway, while the restaurant is at street level. Why make customers stop by the roadside just to collect an order? Doesn’t that push us into illegal parking? This is really bad for the restaurants’ business. For customers’ convenience, why not let us use the lot in front of the building for a quick pickup? How long could it take?

There’s one hour of free parking and a few good places here, including Italian food at al borgo, a huge Anytime Fitness branch, Cold Storage, and a McDonald’s drive-thru.
