Aqueen Prestige Hotel Jalan Besar

The hotel has good amenities and an eco-friendly approach. They don’t provide bottled water, which fits with Singapore’s safe tap water. The pool on the R floor is spacious, but it only has two sun beds, which feels inadequate. Soundproofing is poor too, and noise from adjacent rooms carries easily, probably because of thin partitioning.

The location made getting around easy, with food nearby and quick access to the MRT and buses. I was traveling alone and felt safe and comfortable. My room was quiet, clean, and well kept, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout. Great value, and I’d happily recommend it.

The pool area has loads of space but only two sun loungers, so it could use more seating. There’s no shared lounge, and I missed having a mirror in the bathroom. Still, it’s a nice little hotel with decent-quality fittings. Handy if you’re going to the Jalan Besar Sport Centre, which is right next door.
