Rabbit Carrot Gun was one of our favourite weekend breakfast spots. It's known for its cosy feel, delicious food, and excellent service. The menu brings British and Singaporean cooking together in a way that feels both familiar and inventive. You can go for British comfort food like fish and chips, or try Singaporean-inspired dishes with a modern twist. There's something to suit every palate. The service is attentive and friendly, with a warm welcome as soon as you arrive. Rabbit Carrot Gun's focus on good ingredients, creative dishes, and service has earned it a great reputation with locals and visitors. It's a must-visit when exploring Singapore's lively food scene and looking for a welcoming place to eat.

The citrus tart was a lovely finish, sweet and zesty, with a gorgeous crust. Before that, we had a delicious Beef Wellington with a generous amount of duxelles, and crab cakes packed with quality crab meat. The jalapeno poppers were crisp and filled with sour cream, served with a tangy sauce. Everything was perfect, and the dinner had my partner and me grinning through the meal. Even the guy eating alone across from us, with his red wine, was nodding and smiling with every bite. The food quality makes the prices very reasonable. First time here, definitely won't be the last.

The menu's different from most brunch places, with a few classic English dishes, and the coffee was good. Service was pleasant, and the portions were fairly priced. We didn't care much for the atmosphere, possibly because we sat outside. Cars go by quite close, and big, brazen birds were constantly hovering around the seating area.

The food and drinks were the stars of the evening. We had cocktails, Fish n Chips, Steak and Guiness Pie, and Scotch Eggs, all excellent and well prepared. It was our overall a very good experience, though we could see some of what other reviewers have said about poor, inattentive service. Despite having a reservation, the staff seemed unprepared when we arrived and there was no table set aside for us. Once that was sorted out, the service was reasonable. It's one of those polarising hip spots along East Coast Road, so read the reviews and see for yourself.

The drinks selection is ample and the prices are fair. Scotch eggs were decent, and the ambience was good with friendly service. The beef was a bit tough, and I had trouble cutting it even after switching to a steak knife. The fish was somewhat mushy. It was a pleasant experience, but the food could have been better for a fourth star.
