Atelier

I was worried that, as an older traveler, I might not sleep well or get any peace, but the room was quiet the whole time and people were considerate of one another. The rule is to keep noise down from 10pm. The cabin bunk was comfortable and had plenty of space. There's a cute café downstairs with a relaxing atmosphere. The hostel is in a great spot in China Town. Staff gave me a warm welcome when I arrived, brought me a drink, and shared the WiFi and group WhatsApp contact. Entry to the door and locker uses an electronic wristband, so there's no fuss with keys or cards. Laundry, a fridge, and a free water dispenser are available too. My one suggestion is to separate the toilet and shower. The shower is right by the cubicle entrance, so even if you only want to use the toilet, the floor is usually very wet. It didn't affect my stay, though, just a personal preference. I'd highly recommend this friendly, comfortable, respectful hostel ❤️

Daniel made the stay feel personal and helped the three of us feel at home. He gave us lots of good places and things to do around Singapore. Huge thanks to him, he's a legend. My cousin, mate, and I stayed in the Vault Room at Atelier Hostel and loved the vibe. Everyone was welcoming from the start, and it was an easy place to relax after being out around the city all day. The breakfasts were unreal, and the coffee each morning was so good. We'd definitely stay again next time we're back in Singapore.

Dean made a real effort to welcome everyone who came through the door, and he's very good at his job. The rooms were always clean, the showers had great water pressure, and all the staff made me feel welcome. It's a very good hostel in a perfect spot for exploring Singapore. I'd definitely stay again.

Dean made a lasting impression on me. He's cheerful, friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. He carried my very large luggage upstairs without hesitation, then helped me figure out how to get to the Harry Potter Magic experience at Sentosa Island and where to buy tickets. He even lent me his Harry Potter cloak, spectacles, wand, and muffler so I could enjoy the experience properly. That kind gesture made my trip special, and I'm very grateful to him. We also had long, refreshing conversations about travel, cultures, and life. It felt like talking with an old friend. Atelier Hostel in Singapore felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. It's beautifully designed, spacious, very clean, and extremely secure, with a positive atmosphere. The in-house café/restaurant was a delight, with lush plants, cozy seating, and a calm, uplifting feel. Check-in was quick and smooth. The other staff were friendly and helpful too, though Dean stood out for his warmth, wisdom, and interest in people. I had a really pleasant stay, thanks to the comfort, cleanliness, safety, positive environment, and people. I'll choose Atelier Hostel again when I return to Singapore, and make time to see Dean. Highly recommended for anyone who wants more than just a place to sleep, it gives you an experience to remember. 🌿✨
