Having a washing machine, microwave, and refrigerator in the room made this feel more like a small serviced apartment than a hotel, which worked well for a longer stay. The space isn't big, as you'd expect in Singapore, but it's thoughtfully arranged, comfortable, and minimalist. It's clean, and the modern bathroom is well kept, with strong hot water, full amenities, and a bidet, which I especially appreciated as an Asian traveler. Coliwoo Kampong Glam sits in a lively heritage neighborhood near Sultan Mosque, Haji Lane, and Arab Street. Cafés, halal restaurants, and plenty of photo-worthy spots are within walking distance. The atmosphere is calm inside but lively around the area, and it felt safe and cozy, more like apartment living than a hotel. A good fit for solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking for modern comfort and a convenient location without premium hotel prices.
The location is great, right on the well-known Arab St. The rooms were clean and the service was fantastic. Before heading out, there's a light breakfast with nuts, bread, juice, yogurt, and coffee. It's only available until 11 a.m., and some guests take more than they plan to eat, so it's better to get there early.
The room was cozy and had the amenities shown in the photos. They also put out light breakfast snacks, and I especially liked the Nespresso coffee. Keegan was the admin on duty during my four-day stay and gave me a clear welcome and explanation. Housekeeping did a good job too. It's in a lively part of Kampung Glam, an easy walk from Bugis MRT Station. The area stays active at night, which helped me feel safe traveling alone, while the hotel's position perpendicular to the late-night restaurant row kept it reasonably quiet inside. I'd save this place for a future Singapore visit. A+ 🌟
Ms Sarah Razak looked after me and was lively, always smiling, and really helpful. She was accommodating and understood my boy's needs as a child with ASD. Excellent service. I'll come back with my twins and add photos soon. The room is small, but it's Singapore, and it was clean, modern, cozy, and had a comfortable bed. The wall is thin, so I could hear people in the walkway, although it was still quiet at night. Staff are kind and helpful. The hotel has a distinctive co-living feel, which can make the stay feel more like being a temporary local. The location is handy for the Kampong Glam area, near the Mosque, Arab Street, shops, restaurants with lots of halal choices, and within walking distance of Bugis and Nicoll Highway MRT stations. Room features include a washer-dryer, microwave, mini-fridge, Nespresso machine with complimentary pods, desk, flat-screen TV, and good Wi-Fi. There's also a free grab-and-go breakfast with snacks, bread, yogurt, and coffee, though I never got to grab it.
Check-in was smooth and pleasant because the woman at the front desk was welcoming and explained things clearly. The room is compact, but neat, very clean, and equipped with what you need. Its furniture and appliances were well maintained and looked new.
