I liked the shared areas, which were well looked after and had free water refills and a microwave. It was also a nice place to relax after exploring Singapore. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the central location put public transport, food spots, souvenir shops and city attractions close by. CUBE Family Boutique Capsule Hotel Singapore was clean, cozy and thoughtfully set up. The spacious capsules had private bathrooms, good lighting and charging ports, and felt surprisingly comfortable. It’s good value for the money and a smart family friendly option for a stay in Singapore. Highly recommended! ✨

We booked two connecting rooms for our family of seven, and check-in was quick and straightforward. The quadruple rooms connect, so the setup could work for families of four or up to eight. The rooms are compact, as is common in Singapore, but well planned, with several useful cubicles. They were clean and had well stocked toiletries. There’s a kitchen for general use by reception, with a water filter. Reception staff were helpful, and there’s also a phone to reach them when they aren’t around. For the price, it’s a great deal in the center of Chinatown, close to local restaurants, hawker centers, the MRT, temples and more.

The only real drawbacks for us were the stairs, since there’s no lift and heavy luggage has to be carried up, and the beds are full size rather than queen. Couples sharing with a child may want to keep that in mind. Otherwise, CUBE Family was amazing and we’d definitely return. The room was small, as is common in Singapore, but very cleverly designed and packed with comforts: universal sockets, lots of lighting, strong air conditioning and hot water, and our own toilet, which is rare for Singapore budget hotels. It even had a toilet ring for kids, fresh paper rolls and full bottles of shampoo and shower gel. The beds were clean and comfy, and the kids loved climbing the interesting bed structure. There was loads of storage on the shelves, plus a hair dryer, kettle, hangers, mini fridge, towels, reading lights and a surface for writing or using a laptop. They left free snacks and coffee in the room, and the hotel hallway smelled nice. Step outside and cross the street to Singapore’s hawker center with the most stalls. There are loads of food choices, and they’re cheap. Great value for money. Thank you, CUBE!

My husband and I had an upsetting, bizarre stay at Cube. We checked in, unpacked, then an hour later the manager knocked and told us we had to leave “right now” because we’d booked the other nearby Cube location. The front desk had checked us into the wrong hotel, but the manager didn’t acknowledge that mistake and treated us like intruders. He kept knocking to hurry us while we rushed to pack. Being pushed out and humiliated over their own administrative error was unacceptable. We won’t return.
