Breakfast is served outside the building, and they don’t exchange money. There’s a water purifier in the bathroom, but no black or green tea bags. The pool and small jim on the seventh floor are good. The service wasn’t bad, but the room was small, and the bathroom and toilet aren’t separate. When we showered, everything got wet, including the door and behind it. So, neither a bad stay nor a good one.

It’s a comfortable place with a peaceful feel, and the building is modern and well maintained. The area is a bit commercial, but the hotel is handy for the metro, bus stops, shops, and 7‑11. A convenient and comfortable stay for the price.

The hotel felt cheap and misleading, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I booked it for an inexpensive getaway, expecting Singapore’s reputation for cleanliness to mean fewer problems, but it looked nothing like the pictures. In the first room, the beds were almost on the floor. Moving the cot revealed used slippers underneath, and neither the TV remote nor the AC worked. I asked the front desk for another room or some compensation. They refused a refund but offered a larger room, which I accepted because it was so late. The AC in that room didn’t work either. I only realized in the morning when I woke up overheated, but I was rushing and couldn’t talk to the front desk. I got back around 11 PM, exhausted, and went to sleep, forgetting about the AC. I checked out very early the next morning for the airport. Now that I’m home, I’ve found a large bump on my back and face and am trying to contact the hotel, but there’s no answer. It wasn’t necessarily filthy, but it was poorly maintained and well below what I expected.

It’s comfortable and clean, and check-in was easy. Hawkers and restaurants are nearby, as is a bus stop, though the MRT is a bit farther away. The place is usually calm, but the walls are thin enough that a neighbor could hear you if you chat too loudly with your roommate, which keeps visitors from making much noise. A recommended spot if you want somewhere comfortable to stay in Singapore.
