The area has good food, and getting to the airport took a reasonable amount of time. The desk staff were friendly. In the room, though, there was a full-width unmarked step just beyond the bed, thick dust on the fixtures and fittings, and visible mould on the wall. Fortunately it was only a one-night stay, and we left at 4:30am.

There's a bus stop right nearby and several places to eat that stay open late. The beds are large and comfortable, though I woke up itchy, probably from bugs. Like other reviewers, I found cockroaches all over the bathrooms. The shower is combined with the toilet, so I wouldn't recommend showering there for sanitary reasons.

The AC stopped working at midnight in an extremely small room with no ventilation. It felt unsafe and unhealthy, and the staff didn't seem to care. They offered no discount or compensation. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at in SEAsia. A dreadful stay, avoid it at all costs.

The bed was amazing, and I slept like a baby. The toilet wasn't that good, though. There are lots of good supper places around, and it's suitable for longer stays. In the morning the soundproofing isn't great because the door is just wood, so you can hear people passing and the cleaner working.
