Having stayed here for leisure trips over the years, I keep enjoying it. The lobby renovations look beautiful, and I look forward to the rooms being renovated too. Check-in is always efficient, and after the long flight, it's just a quick 20-minute taxi ride from Changi. The lovely pool area is a great place to unwind. As an ALL platinum member, I enjoy the canapés and drinks served by the pool every night. The mall and hawker centre across the road are amazing, and East Coast park is a short walk away for a stroll. It's great having the MRT out front now, with cheap, quick access to the CBD. We come back once or twice a year, and it's always a great stay.

We've stayed here for a few years, and the upgrades have made this visit even better. It's our favourite hotel, in a great area with lots of shopping and a wonderful range of nearby food. The new MRT station has been really convenient, and we'll definitely be back. We loved the poolside room, where it was nice to sit outside with visiting friends or family. The front desk and doorman were great. A special shout-out to Jennifer (manager?), who was very helpful and friendly. The staff at Divine Cafe were always smiling and friendly, and the food and drinks were very good. Housekeeping wasn't up to the standard we expected. The toilet sometimes smelled musty, and hairs were left in the shower. The bidet leaked; a service engineer came three times, and it worked for a couple of days before leaking again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The concierge helped extend my stay and arrange a cake for my wife's birthday, and the customer service was excellent. I only missed having a halal kitchen. Halal breakfast or room service options would be great, and I believe more Muslim Singaporeans and visitors would come.

The MRT is right in front of the hotel, and the airport is about 20 minutes away by car. The location is great. Breakfast was also great, with lots of fresh, tasty choices. I've stayed here a couple of times, and the bathrooms still feel dated and have some mold.

I booked this hotel after being disappointed with my choice 12 days earlier. Grand Mercure turned out to be great, with a spacious, comfortable, well-maintained room. I loved ROXYdevine cafe in the lobby, both the setting and the staff. It's also very close to the metro line.
