Our room was compact, but clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and we had a wonderful anniversary stay. Celine and Rusydi were warm and attentive, and I want to thank them for their excellent hospitality. The housekeeping team decorated the room beautifully for our anniversary and left a thoughtful welcome card. That small surprise made the celebration extra special and memorable. We really appreciated the team's heartfelt effort and would happily stay here again.

The service deserves five stars. When I called the lobby about my adapter, they quickly sent up two replacements for me to borrow, and the staff were super nice and helpful. The outlet situation was awkward: my adapter worked in one socket only if I propped it up, and wouldn't work in the other two even with their switches set to on. The room was clean and nice, though small, with an okay city view. There were no dressers, so I lived out of my suitcase. The bed was extremely firm, which is great if you like a hard mattress. The big TV had limited channels, but apps let you sign into Netflix or YouTube and watch what you want. There was also a small mini fridge and a safe inside a desk drawer, with the hair dryer in the main desk drawer. The pool on the second floor was a nice area, but there were only two umbrellas, so I didn't stay long since I avoid the sun. I dipped my feet in, and the water was pretty cold, so it's not heated. It would probably feel great if you're hot and sweaty from the humidity. I didn't hear much street noise, but the neighbors had little kids coming in at midnight, which made it hard to sleep. I called the front desk the second night, and it was quiet for the rest of my trip. Breakfast was limited, and there wasn't much that suited my calorie watching. At home I usually have a smoothie, fruit, and some protein like sausage. Here I got orange and apple slices one day, apple and melon the next. I did enjoy the fish sticks one morning and chicken fingers for protein, though they aren't what I think of as breakfast food. Maybe I'm just a picky eater watching my calories. The location is great, near lots of places to eat and the metro. I wish I'd known before booking an expensive Grab from the airport that the train back to the airport was only $2 US.

For my first Singapore visit, I wasn't sure whether staying in the city center was a good idea. I booked a week at the hotel for a conference @EXPO, and it turned out to work really well. It's new, clean, well maintained in both the rooms and public areas, easy to reach by MRT from anywhere I went, and the whole stay was superb. The pool is a proper place to swim and relax, with plenty of space and a moderately good view over the city block. Breakfast was a highlight too. It was delicious, suitable for vegetarians, and changed from day to day. =)) You can walk to marina bay in about 30-40 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised to find several art schools nearby, which shows in some of the businesses serving that crowd. Rochor station on the downtown line is 200 meters away, and Little India and Jalan Besar stations are each under a 15 min walk. The trip to expo took about 45 min each way. My only real complaint is that the room was quite small, though it was fine for me on my own and probably would be for two as well. I'll definitely stay here again on a future Singapore visit.

The location is perfect for visiting Singapore's major sights, and the staff were excellent, polite, and helpful. The cleaning team was great too, though one day we were out most of the morning and lunchtime and the room still wasn't cleaned. It's a modern, nice hotel, and the rooms were clean and quiet. But they're smaller than you might expect and would benefit from furniture better suited to the space. There wasn't much room for clothes, either.

We expected a 4-star experience at Hotel Mi Rochor, but our stay was mixed. The excellent location in Little India was easy to reach, with good transport links and food options, and the reception staff were polite, helpful, and courteous. Housekeeping was also consistent and did a good job. The room was extremely cramped for a family with a baby. There was no wardrobe, just a few hangers, and nowhere proper to put luggage. We had to keep our suitcases on the floor under the bed, which made it hard to move around. Only one person could move through the room at a time. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, but so compact that it was uncomfortable to use. The bed also felt small for traveling with our baby, with little space to roll, turn, or move comfortably. This might work for solo travelers or a very short stay, but families, especially those with babies and several bags, should know the room and storage space are major concerns. Clearer information about the actual room dimensions when booking would help set expectations.
