The receptionists were kind and helpful, and we had no issues during our one-night stay. You can leave your bags there before check-in and after checkout. There's a 7eleven next to the hotel, loads of restaurants nearby, and tourist spots within walking distance. It also has a rooftop swimming pool, 1.2 M deep, where you can swim until 10pm. Our room was clean and a little small, but the price was one of the best for the location. They say tap water is drinkable, and the lobby dispenser has hot and cold water. I'd stay here again if I come back to Singapore.

Getting around is easy, with the blue and purple MRT lines nearby, plus a 7-11 and bus stop right outside. The downside was the noise from the corridor and other guests. A quiet-hours sign might help.

Breakfast had plenty of choice, tasted good, and was kept clean. The room furniture was nice, everything was in order, and the bathroom was spotless. Reception and housekeeping were both very helpful. Chun Hao deserves a special mention for going out of his way for us. We were very happy with the stay and would come back.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance, and the restaurant has a live band from 7:30pm Tuesday through Saturday. Buses make getting around easy, though the hotel sits on a bus lane, so taxis and ride-hailing cars can’t pick up or drop off there. There’s a 7/11 beside the lobby that’s open 24/7. The pool is small, with only 3-4 loungers. The room was an okay size for what we paid, but the poor sound insulation made it hard to rest. I could hear people walking, doors opening, and conversations outside, as well as the next room’s tap and shower. During my stay, several groups or families from a particular nationality were especially loud in the evening, at night, and even around midnight. It was really difficult to put up with. Breakfast was pretty good, but there were problems with our takeaway request. We asked early, but the person in charge in the kitchen wasn’t in their work WhatsApp group, so it wasn’t prepared. Also, although breakfast is said to start at 7am, it wasn’t really ready then.
