Jyu Capsule Hotel

We spent one night here during a Singapore layover, and it was really relaxing. The mattress was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is centrally located. Some things are starting to show wear, but the place is still well kept. We'd love to return and stay longer.

The staff were nice, and my stay was alright. I can't compare it with anywhere else in Singapore since this is the only place I've stayed here. There isn't much space in the room. Most people's luggage was piled beside my capsule, and people kept coming to organize it at different times of day, which disturbed some capsules more than others. The capsule by the door would probably hear the digital lock and door shutting constantly.

From the hotel in the middle of Chinatown, many attractions are only 10 to 20 minutes away. They also include a complimentary visit to the nearby Chinatown Heritage Centre, which was a fun surprise and a chance to learn more about Singapore's culture and heritage. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were good, and the stay was very enjoyable for the price.

I stayed for two nights, my first time in a capsule or pod hotel, and I liked the setup. It was clean, generally quiet, and comfortable. The location worked really well, with easy MRT access. There's an ATM across the street in the shopping centre for cash to use at the hawkers, and Delish Popiah is upstairs from the ATM. :-)
