The construction was underway right during check-in, with workers around, walls being taken down, and dust everywhere. I’d booked a private room with a bunk bed, but ended up sharing it with people who seemed to be living there. It made a terrible first impression, and I felt bad enough to leave an hour after checking in, even though there was no refund. The kitchen had no chairs, and the bathrooms were just so-so. We chose this thinking it would be a cheap option, but I’d rather spend the extra 25$ than be disappointed and try to sleep somewhere that feels like a construction site. I wish there’d been a zero-star option.

Inn at SG is a nice youth hostel, and the manager was kind enough to let us check in early at 8 am. If you’re staying here, I’d suggest bringing a basic hair dryer. Have a nice vacation!

I paid 18 SGD a night for a bed in an eight-bed room. The place is near Aljunied Metro Station, which is a plus, but cleanliness was below average and there were bedbugs in my room. It was still better than Nano Hostel, though both hostels have bedbugs.

It’s better than nano hotel, with a kitchen and dining table where you can cook and eat. The cleaning was above average, though the price felt a little high.

It’s a very cramped, uncomfortable hostel. You’ll wake up whenever someone in the bed above or below you moves. I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends.
