JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach

The 17th floor has a bar, pool, billiards, and foosball, and the gym is clean and well kept. Rooms are in great shape, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of food within walking distance, and the Merlion statue and waterfront are very close. The Exec Lounge is nice if you qualify. I wouldn’t make a special trip for breakfast, but happy hour is good. A five-star hotel that lives up to the hype. Recommended if you have the option.

There was a huge range of food at breakfast, and both afternoon tea and cocktail time in the lounge were good. Four hours of free-flow drinks is very generous. I do wish the lounge sparkling wine hadn’t been Prosecco. We could take a bus to the airport from Raffles hotel. Great hotel.

We spent a week here and had excellent service from the whole team. Special thanks to Fiona and the executive lounge team for taking such good care of us. The hotel is smaller than some others, which makes the service feel personal, and it still has two pools with distinctive views and lots of room to unwind after work. It’s in a perfect central spot, so most local sights are walkable or a short Grab ride away. The South Beach complex also has restaurants ranging from simple bar food to high-end sushi.

We stayed at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach from 9 to 10 Aug 2025 for a family National Day staycation. The location made it possible to watch parts of the parade, including fireworks and commandos parachuting in, which made the visit memorable. It was very crowded during the holiday, though that’s expected for the occasion and location. The staff were warm, sincere, and well trained, communicated clearly, and handled requests smoothly. The executive lounge had a good food selection and enjoyable, well-made cocktails. There are two pools, and my daughter enjoyed both. As a frequent Marriott guest, I’d happily recommend it for a National Day staycation.
