The MRT and bus stop are nearby, and there’s great food just down the street. Service was okay, the staff were helpful. It’s fine for a budget stay, but Room 202 has no window and can feel suffocating, so keep your expectations modest.

I was skeptical after booking before I’d read the reviews, but the place turned out to be nowhere near as bad as I’d expected. It was very clean on the first floors, and I didn’t encounter bed bugs or bad smells. There are several bus stops very close by, too.

We left just 30 minutes after checking in. The room felt cramped, poorly kept, and unhygienic compared with the misleading photos online. The only thing we felt comfortable sitting on was our own luggage. The smell was strong and musty throughout, including in the bathroom, likely because of mould. There was visible mould on the walls and floor trim, and the sheets had white stains. Within minutes on the bed, my children started feeling itchy, which made us suspect there might be bed bugs. We found the conditions completely unacceptable. I’d avoid this place if cleanliness, comfort, or your health matter to you. It was an unpleasant and potentially unsafe stay.

The bathroom was covered in water from the previous guests’ shower when I checked in late in the afternoon, and the bedding wasn’t proper. They did provide water and a dental kit, which was a nice extra. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, especially since it encourages guests to leave reviews in exchange for cash back.
