Park Avenue Robertson

The room was really clean and nice, the location was good, and the reception staff were pleasant. My one complaint is that housekeeping apparently doesn’t do the dishes, so you have to wash them yourself. I found that a bit disappointing, since help with that would actually be useful during a stay.

The room was spacious, with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and large bathroom. There were four chairs at the dining area, the kitchenware had everything needed, and washing powder was provided with the washing machine. Room cleaning every third day was enough for me. Staff were friendly, and Fort Canning MRT and bus stops were within walking distance. I didn’t find the pool or gym useful. There were no chairs or shade, so neither felt inviting. Also, early check-in for three hours cost 50% of the room rate. Still, it’s a great place for a longer stay.

We had a spacious three-level villa, and the rooms were serviced every second day, which was more than adequate. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, and a 7-11 right at the doorstep. It’s not near an MRT, but we used Grab to get taxis. The one small problem was that our first villa had just been painted and smelled terrible. They moved us to another one, and had it all sorted within an hour.

The two-bedroom apartment was enough space for me and my parents. The serviced apartments feel luxurious, and the location near Robertson Quay was excellent. It’s a block from the river, a lovely place for an evening walk, and away from noisy main roads. We could hail taxis from The Pier lobby across the road or walk to Fort Canning MRT.
