The staff member was friendly, but kept looking at their phone and left the place messy. It's very noisy if your room is near reception, and during my stay a group of students from China were extremely loud and uneducated. Management was bad, and I can't believe they charged me a 10% service fee for this. I checked in early at 8 am, paid cash, left my luggage, then came back after 3pm to rest while reception was still open, though it isn't 24/7. After waking up past midnight, I found a check-in sheet left on their bench for me. If you arrive late, they give you papers with the rules and bed location. They thought I was a no show. The day after check-in, they marked my booking as no show and charged my card again. They didn't even know which rooms I was staying in. I've worked in hotels for many years, and this is zero tolerance. It's a decent last-minute choice, but there are lots of hostels out there and you can pick a better one.

Guests are responsible for keeping their rooms, shoes, laundry, and things in order, which I like. There's a pantry with free coffee, bread, and jams, and no curfew. They give you an entry code, just don't share it with anyone. One downside: some guests don't wash cups and plates properly, so make sure you wash yours before using them 😁.

We got an early check-in, which was great since it gave us more time to rest. Breakfast is free, the rooms are clean, and you feel safe here. It's accessible to the MRT station and food street. TIP: booking through apps is much cheaper.

Good price, good location, and a nice atmosphere. The woman at reception was very nice. My room was next to the showers, though, and the walls were so thin that we could hear every little noise.
