Hotel Calmo Hamilton

We were disappointed by the receptionist's lack of professionalism, though the other receptionists were very different. Jay and another receptionist whose name we didn't catch were polite, helpful, and respectful. They deserve recognition for their service. Our first assigned room was flooded, so we reported it and asked to move. They gave us Room 215, which was much smaller and left hardly any space for our luggage. When we politely asked about another option, the receptionist said we were “demanding too much” for a one-night stay. The request seemed reasonable given the flooded first room and how impractical the second was. The receptionist also seemed distracted and inattentive to guests. During our interaction, she appeared to be on a video call, which sounded like a personal conversation with her boyfriend, and often didn't even look at us while speaking. Guests raising a legitimate room concern should be treated respectfully.

The rooms were decent, but the service is what earns the five stars. Dinie at the front desk put real effort into serving us well and handled our requests perfectly. It was a pleasant stay, and I'd definitely return. Kudos to Dinie and Hotel Calmo, keep up the great service.

Sharan's kindness and patience made a real difference during our stay. He helped us with so many things, always welcoming and attentive, and we were grateful for all his support. It's rare to meet someone so genuinely helpful. We had a wonderful time and couldn't be happier with the experience. We'd absolutely come back and recommend the hotel, especially for anyone hoping for a comfortable, memorable stay with Sharan's great hospitality.

A good-value stay with no complaints. The room was really clean, and the sheets, pillowcases, and towels felt fresh each day. I was almost worried about messing them up, lol. The hotel is in a super convenient spot near food, bus stops, and MRT stations, so getting around was easy. I brought an adapter since Singapore uses different plugs, but the sockets were universal and I didn't need it.
