YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road

Clean, modern room and a cool vibe, with public transport super close by. It was great value and I’d book again and recommend it to friends. The room might feel a little small for a couple, and the bathroom door doesn’t close all the way, so keep that in mind.

I stayed here in 2020, during the pandemic, and was pleasantly surprised by how good the amenities were. It’s a much smaller place than the Hilton Hotel, where I also stayed, but it costs less. I loved my stay. Fabulous hotel.

The location is the main draw, right by the main street and its high-end malls. The airport is about 30 minutes away, and check-in and checkout were easy. It seems to share the building with other tenants. The gym, pool, and restaurant are on the 10th floor. The pool is quite small, while the gym was decent. There’s a water faucet in the room instead of bottled water, and the water tasted okay. The shower had strong pressure, which mattered most to me. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I’d consider coming back.

The room was much tighter than we expected, even though we knew it would be small. There was no storage, the bed was small and very uncomfortable, and with nowhere to sit except the bed, spending three nights there was a struggle. I’d suggest it for just 1-2 nights. On the plus side, the room was clean, breakfast had good options, and the location was handy for MRT, ION, and getting to tourist attractions.
