We spent eight nights here with our husky, about a 15-minute walk from the city center. The room worked perfectly for us, especially the very good bathroom with its nice, large shower. You can also buy local homemade salami, sausages, cheese, and bread.

Matjaz and his wife made me feel welcome rather than like a stranger. They were both warm and hospitable, and Matjaz even offered airport pickup and drop-off. He shared tips on places to explore in Bled and some history about Slovenia. I was in a single room during a three-day workshop visit to Bled last weekend. It was great for one person and good value, with a double bed, attached bathroom, TV, and a table with a kettle. From the window and balcony I could see the snow-covered Alps, which made mornings feel fresh. The farmhouse is close to the city center and Lake Bled, and you can walk there while enjoying the Julian Alps along the way. If you’re staying in Bled, this farmhouse is a lovely choice.
