Cube Central Rooms for 2 - Hostel

The beds are clean and the space is comfortable enough if you’re only planning to sleep there. But that smell was impossible for me to handle. It may be mold or something rotten, and that made me worry it wasn’t safe for guests.

So loud, and the smell is really bad. There are 20 rooms but only 2 toilets. The bedrooms are practically part of the 1 sqm kitchen and 2 sqm bathroom. It feels more like a prison, minus 100 stars.

It’s clean and attractive, but very small, so best for a short stay. The room safe didn’t work, and the door wouldn’t lock at all. One night the circuit breaker tripped too, leaving us without power for half an hour.

There’s a small kitchen with a sink, stove, a little cutlery and a fridge you can use, though the bathrooms are shared, so it has a bit of a hostel setup. The room is basically just enough for a bed, with hardly any storage. That didn’t bother me since I expected to spend my time exploring Ljubljana. It’s a good choice if you won’t be in the room much, and the location is great. You get plenty of privacy for a comfortable night’s sleep.
