M Hotel Ljubljana

A good hotel for large groups, with an excellent breakfast and a great shower. The rooms were a bit small, though, and a kettle would be a nice addition. The staff were neutral, and it’s quite a way from the old quarter.

The staff made this stay even more miserable. They were rude, unprofessional, and no help at all, treating guests like a nuisance. The room itself was dirty, smelled awful, and was in poor shape, with facilities that were broken or different from what was advertised. It was overpriced and absolutely not worth it. I wouldn't stay again and strongly recommend avoiding it.

Breakfast was a standout, with a perfect spread and some of the best I've ever had. The hotel was spotless, the staff were great, and it's among the best places I've stayed. I'd happily recommend it and will definitely come back.

The breakfast had plenty to choose from, including breads, drinks, and even honeycomb. The rooms look modern, though the bed is small and the pillows are soft. There's a shopping mall about a 20-minute walk away, or a 5 euro Uber ride. Our shower was a serious safety concern. The bathroom was one of the tall designs, with the shower floor more than 60cm above the room floor, so getting in and out meant climbing a huge step. There were no safety bars anywhere. This isn't the usual kind where the shower base is level with the floor. Anyone with mobility trouble would struggle. I'm young, and my mom had to help me down, and I helped her too. An older person could easily fall trying to get in. It's risky and not inclusive. We also happened to be there at the same time as a sports team group of around 100 Croatian teenagers and children. They ran through the lobby and made it chaotic. While we were waiting in line for the elevator, they shoved my mother and an 80 year old lady aside to get in first, then ran off when we called them out. The hotel can't choose every guest, but it should keep things safe and respectful for everyone paying to have a peaceful stay.
