We were five and had plenty of space, with two bathrooms, a private terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, and even a barbecue. The host was kind and flexible, and there was everything we needed. The wonderful panorama and peaceful setting made it a great choice for our family. The house is quite high up, which is the main drawback, though the beaches are not far. A shop and restaurant are within a five-minute walk, and the downtown area is about 15 minutes away. We didn't need the car for that walk, though you can park in many places in town for 2-6 Euro/hour. Thanks for having us!

It was so quiet, and the veranda looked out over the sea. The center of Portoroz isn't far, but walking there gets tiring because of the steep uphill climb. And yes, the orange trees are real!

The nearby shops and buses made getting around easy, and the sea was only a short walk in either direction. We had enough room for all eight of us, and the family who welcomed us was friendly. It was good value, too. We’d definitely come back when we get the chance.

The owners’ warmth and courtesy really made the stay. The place was clean, thoughtfully arranged, and made good use of its space, with stunning views too. I’d recommend it to families, even larger ones.
