We had the dorm to ourselves that night. The mattresses were incredibly comfortable, and there was enough background noise to keep sounds from elsewhere in the building from carrying. The place is central and very clean.

We're the six unbearable guests from Tolminator week. We didn't stay in the rooms, but the bar and service were top notch. The team was incredibly patient and nice despite our nonsense. Fair prices, good beer, good drinks. Go give it a try!

The location is the one real plus, and they seem to rely on it. The dorm felt like a hot box, with air conditioning that was loud, barely effective, and beeping nonstop. I ended up sleeping in the common room. There are just two toilets and showers for the whole hostel, one for men and one for women. The staff were okay, though one person trying to run the bar as well seemed clearly overworked. Easily my worst hostel stay.

The building is fine and the location is beautiful, and the staff are friendly. Cleaning needs more attention, though, and the toilets should be separated for men and women, since both are available. There was also a water leak that day. Sorting out these smaller issues would improve the rating.

It's right in the center of Tolmin, with a nice atmosphere, several bathrooms, and towels you can borrow. The host was lovely. Check in at the café bar, which is connected to the place.
