The apartment block is clean, warm, and comfortable, and the staff are super friendly. It's a little off the beaten track, but the historic centre is about a 20-minute walk and easy to reach without getting lost. Bus 61 from the airport to the railway station goes right past.

All the hostels were full, so I stayed here instead. The girl at reception was cheerful and really helpful. The small studio had a kitchen, deck, ensuite, and good internet, with everything you'd need. It's perhaps a 20-30 minute walk from the historical centre. The beds are a little hard, but fine for a quick stopover.

The apartment on the fourth floor felt like a suite, with a sleeping room and a separate salon with kitchen. It was bigger than the photos made it seem. Some might find the bathroom small compared with the whole place, but I thought it was fine. There's a shower, no bathtub, which is a pity with so much space. The shower itself was okay, but there was no soap, shampoo, or drying machine. The kitchen was great to have, with two electric pads, enough for breakfast and simple dishes. It would be helpful if they left basics like salt, oil, washing-up liquid, or cleaning supplies. In winter the heating worked well. It was quiet too, with no car or neighbour noise. One small drawback for sensitive people: the salon echoes a lot, so someone on the phone or a little music sounds really loud. Laundry is downstairs for 2€, detergent costs another 2€, and drying is 1€. The iron is downstairs too. Reception were friendly and tried their best with language, some spoke better than others, but they were always helpful. At check-in you need to sign a paper for the police. The place was perfectly situated for my event at Hant Arena, near both Arena and old town, right in the middle. I used the taxify app to get to old town cheaply, for 2,5€ /3€.

The one-bedroom apartment was roomy and fully equipped. The location was very convenient, with a supermarket across the road and the Old Town only a 10-minute bus or tram ride away.
