We spent February half term at Riverside Hotel for a week of skiing at Jasna, and it worked really well as a base for me and my three sons. David and Eva at reception were especially helpful, and all the staff were friendly and spoke good English. The hotel was warm and clean. We had a sauna one evening, and used the games room too. It could use an update, but it was fine for playing cards. Each morning we had a great buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant at 07:30, then collected our skis and boots from the downstairs drying room and walked 30 metres to the bus stop across the road. The ride to Jasna was about 20 minutes. After skiing, we'd shower, change, then have dinner and a drink in the restaurant. With young children, we stayed around the hotel rather than going into town and had early nights before heading out to ski again. We had a great time, and I have no hesitation recommending it for a ski holiday.

Our stay was canceled without any explanation two weeks beforehand, a week before the payment date. So much for a great winter holiday.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the rooms were really clean. The staff were helpful, and the hotel is in a good spot with free parking out front. We wanted a twin room, but I don't think they have one. It would be nice if they did.
